How we work

Commissioning

The commission of a bespoke kitchen is about listening to your wishes and ideas and designing a wonderful kitchen or piece of furniture, which is then created with care and attention by a master craftsman.

Free initial consultation

Whether you come to us with a firm design or a general idea, we will work closely with you to come up with the perfect kitchen or piece of furniture for your space. During this process we will discuss materials and finishes and suggestions for worktops and floor coverings and outline ideas for your design to establish initial budget figures.

Design fee

We will then discuss the design fee, which can vary dependent on the size of your project, to come up with final material samples, design drawings and quotation. Occasionally scale models are created to show certain details. Your design fee is returned when you have commissioned your project.

Payment terms

Upon acceptance of the proposal we raise a deposit invoice, which, when paid, enables us to reserve a time slot in our production schedule. Once materials have been purchased and production slots reserved deposits are non refundable.

Mock up

We encourage clients to visit our workshop to see their kitchen or piece of furniture, fully assembled before delivery.

Installation and completion

The next step is installation, which is overseen by company owner and master craftsman Phillip Brown, to ensure the highest standard of craftsmanship. Once installed and completed we like to keep in touch with our clients to make sure everything is as it should be.
